Who we are
Westlane Optics is a new North American supplier of 800G and 1.6T optics for AI clusters, launched in 2026. We are not a manufacturer and don't claim to be one. We source from an established optical-module manufacturer in China and sell to operators and integrators in the United States and Canada.
We don't hold inventory. When you order, we place the same order with the factory, which ships direct. We invoice you, handle import into North America, and own warranty claims: one contact from quote to RMA.
We are new, so we don't have a list of customers to show. We won't put logos or testimonials on this site until customers agree to be named. Until then, here is what you can check yourself.

The market
Our price index shows what the same modules cost elsewhere, and how we measured it.
Origin and TAA
Modules are made in China or Thailand, depending on the model. They are not TAA-compliant.
Datasheet values
Power and temperature figures are the manufacturer's datasheet values and are labelled that way.

How we limit your risk
Evaluate before volume
Evaluation units run on your own switches, NICs and firmware. Volume orders start after your link tests pass.
Quotes in writing
Every quote lists price per tier, lead time, Incoterms and country of origin, and holds for 14 days.
What we don't do
- We don't sell OEM-branded modules or relabel modules as NVIDIA, Cisco or Arista parts. OEM names on this site describe compatibility or public prices only.
- We don't sell for U.S. federal or defense procurement. If your project falls under TAA or defense rules, tell us and we will say so plainly rather than quote.
- We don't publish customer names, logos or testimonials without written permission.
